| Saturday March 7 9:30am-2:30 pm | Colonial Cooking with Doctor Clarissa Dillon Join Dr. Clarissa Dillon for a series of hands-on colonial cooking workhops. Participants will learn techniques of open-hearth cooking using replica implements and prepare authentic dishes of the 18th century. There will be three workshops (March 7, April 18, May 16) and participants may register for any one, two, or all three dates. Space is limited. Pre-registration and a registration fee are required. | Sunday March 8 noon-4pm | Charter Day Charter Day is the annual recognition of the founding of Pennsylvania by William Penn. The program is free to the public and includes; free tours of Hope Lodge, open hearth cooking, and a looped presentation of our film "Hope Lodge: Witness to America". | Friday April 24 9:30am-3pm | Sheep Shearing Wool was a common fabric of the 18th and 19th century, used for everything from clothing to household items. Producing it was a very labor intensive process that all started with the fleece from sheep. Come to Hope Lodge and see how wool was sheared from the sheep and learn how it was transformed into cloth along with a special display of clothing of the 18th and 19th century. | Wednesday May 20 7pm-8:30pm | Historical Lecture Local historian Roddy Davis will present his program, "Ambler: Keasby and Mattison," about the Ambler manufacturing company that purchased Hope Lodge and the surrounding grounds in 1921 intending to expand the lime quarry on the property. (Free admission) |
| Wednesday June 24 7pm-8:30pm | Ambler Symphony Bring your lawn chair and a picnic dinner as Hope Lodge presents the Ambler Symphony for a delightful and relaxing evening of music. For information on this year's program please contact us. (Admission charged) |
| Wednesday August 12 7pm | Historical Lecture: The Civil War Sailor William Degn and his wife, Alice, were the last private owners of Hope Lodge. William's father was an immigrant who served in the Union Navy on the side wheel steamship USS Keystone State during the Civil War. Join Dan Cashin for a "living history" presentation of Navy life in the Civil War, and learn about the role of the USS Keystone State. Refreshments following. Free Admission |

See Revolutionary War re-enactors, military maneuvers and skirmishes, sutlers with colonial reproductions, plus cooking and craft demonstrations. Tour the Hope Lodge mansion, and much more!
