On Saturday, Mercy Ingraham will prepare some of the General's favorites such as Beef Steak Pye. Connie Unangst will prepare a sampling of Upper Class Virginia Style cooking.

Using 18th c. receipts, participants will make 18th c. tavern fare using open hearth cooking techniques

Join us for a historic look at autumn customs, traditions, and frolics at Washington Crossing Historic Park presents its annual harvest festival. Experience the 1770's and 1830's as you enjoy: historic craft demonstrations, music, and trades, jump in a hay pile, play old-fashioned kids games and more

In this workshop participants will make a colonial style herb/cookie basket made of rib-type construction with hickory handle and frame.

Over 100 re-enactors and demonstrators fill the Park on this exciting day. Experience open-hearth cooking, historic demonstrations, sutlers and more at this great event. The Crossing occurs around 1:00 p.m. River Crossings are contingent upon safe conditions for participants

Witness the reenactment of the Crossing of the Delaware. General Washington will address the troops and cross the river.
